Okay sooooo, i hope you guys saw my most recent piece of artwork. Yah, my 'sona Phaze, is actually a character in a book I am going to write. The idea of the book is kind of hard to explain. Basically what happens in the book(its based in another worldish kinda thing, just so you know) is every year you switch positions between animal and human, butButBUT You stay the same age for two years. Example(hopefully to clarify somethings) If your fifteen(we are talking human years ppl) and ur a wolf, the next year, when ur a human, ur still 15. So basically your living the same year twice, just in different forms and at different times. The world is led by higher beings that have designed the people/creatures to do just what they do, and they have never had any rebellion, as the lower beings don't know the higher exist. I'm not going to explain anything other than that though. Lol if you want to know more ou will have to win the contest. Oh! and the world is basically like ours is, but there are many more forests and much more nature.(that's for if you want to make a full background pic for the contest)

Okay so I need some character designs for my book(which might later be made into a comic, if my drawings skills increase >.< I need mostly animal designs(since most of the story takes place during the animal year. But i also need a human design, it doesn't half to be drawn, but it needs to be very descriptive, so i can describe the character in the book if you win.

I mainly need two designs, for the two major characters after the protagonist(coughPhazeCough) Those two characters are: Phaze's forbidden love and her best friend. Oh something i also forgot to mention, they can be any animal, i would prefer that phaze's boyfriend is something slighty incompatable, but not completely outrageous, like, let's say, a fish, she might eat him by mistake XD. Markings on the animals usually do not look natural, but the base color of the coat HAS to be natural, any markings(and the eyes) can be any color what-so-ever. Phaze's Bestfriend HAS to be canine, but other than that, SHE can be any breed. Every person changes the type of animal they are, but generally, what you first become, often designates some of the animals you will be later. If you do become the same thing twice, your markings and colors are totally different and unique. If you guys can come up with any other characters you think should be in my book, go ahead! Don't be afriad to show me!

1st Place: Digital or Traditional drawing with full backround and up to 2 characters.(of the winners choice of course)Also gets sneak peaks of each chapter as they are written, also gets to learn more about the story. Also, a chibi keychain of one of your characters.

2nd Place: Digital or Traditional drawing with simple backround, up to 2 characters(also gets sneaks peaks and such)

3rd Place: Traditional or Digital drawing with no background, up to 2 characters(also gets sneak peaks, but might not get as much info)

Runner-Ups: Sketches or Lineart of your charcters for you to colors, up to 3 characters though

Deadline: Let's say either my birthday(October 24th) Or Halloween
